Mediove

I am a first-generation immigrant. Everyone who comes to another country will struggle in difficult situations, different languages, cultures, and policies. And the situation changed worse. My parents, who live in China, were diagnosed with cancer. In the past years, I frequently travelled between China and Canada to take care of my parents. I am the only child in the family, and my parents need help. My mother passed away 1years later, but my father survived, he needs to get long-term and multiple medications treatment. Reminding him to take medicine on time becomes a big problem. Is there any way for relatives or medical staff to take care of patients remotely? I started thinking about this problem.

What’s the issue
  • Living in a different place
  • Weak self-management ability
  • Multiple drugs
  • Poor memory
  • No track record
  • Weak ability to learn new things

                                  • Management system
                                    • Cloud data synchronization
                                      • Through the cloud server, the system realizes the synchronization of mobile phone application data between patients and caregivers.
                                    • Frontend mobile application
                                      • The application adapts to different smartphone operating systems and hardware platforms.

  • Reminder
    • Setting
      • The caregiver and patients have different setting permissions.
    • Alert mode
      • Users can choose different reminding methods, such as ringing, vibrating, or flashing lights to meet different needs.
    • Check
      • The patient needs to record the medication time and drug information through the mobile phone application after each medication.
    • Remote Monitor
      • The caregiver can retrieve the patient’s drug usage.

  • Recording
    • Statistics report
      • The system generates reports on the use of medicines by patients and provides them for reference by caregivers and doctors.
    • Urgent notification
      • The system monitors the patient’s use of drugs and reminds caregivers based on the importance.

Medilove is a medicine reminder. It could help me manage medicines for my father in distance.
It can help me keep all the medications organized according to him, which is great for him and me. It helps me understand his medication status, no matter what his schedule is, and where he is.
